They rewired my ute canopy’s rear lights in June 2025 and today I noticed that 6 out of 8 screws that hold on the rear light cover were completely stripped of thread. This is lazy work, makes them more likely to allow water and dust ingress as the seal is compromised, and a safety issue if the remaining screw doesn’t hold. I’d also be facing penalties if the lights fail due to electrical shorting and pulled over by police. I didn’t think I’d have to check if screws were stripped, it’s quite a basic skill and something that it easily identified by the technician as there’s obvious resistance when screwed tight. Before this I was also shocked at how rude the front desk staff were. I spoke to someone on the phone the day before to book the car in, and confirmed I’d have to drop it in just before open, and he said that’s fine and there would be people there so we can have a look at the car together when I dropped it off. This was because ute canopies have various types of rear lights and he wanted to check beforehand to see if the ones he was suggesting would work. I arrived about 10-15 minutes before open, and there were about 4 people inside at the counter but the door was locked… okay understandable as it’s before open and there is a key slot for early drop-offs. So, I knocked on the glass as I understood they were able to quickly look at the car. No one made eye contact, and knocked again after 20 seconds, and again after that… There is no way they couldn’t see me through the glass, there is no way they couldn’t hear the knocks. I stood there for a few minutes to see if anyone would acknowledge me as they might be busy on the computer or in the middle of a conversation but nothing… Unbelievable! It is possibly the rudest service I’ve ever received, nothing else comes to mind that tops this honestly.

They recently completed alot of work on my pop up camper/trailer including upgrades and repairs to larger battery, dc and solar chargers, inverter, ac wiring. Also repairs to roof pop up drive system. Communication was awesome, letting me know daily of progress and fault repair recommendations. When complete they brought into the shop to witness testing of all functions. The final bill was less than quoted. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend them.
They identified a problem with the wiring of a Redarc Towpro unique to my vehicle, Mercedes X250, and incorrect fitment by another auto electrician. If they didn't have this knowledge and experience the issue would have continued. Excellent service from Accelerate and Redarc.
This company offers a great value air-conditioning service for your car. The whole process was done efficiently and in a friendly manner from booking-in to the picking up of the car when the service was completed. The communication throughout was excellent and different options and pricing were discussed. I am very happy with how my car air-conditioning is performing after the service and will certainly use this company again.
