Bendigo Auto Electrical & Mechanical

Bendigo Auto Electrical & Mechanical is an auto electrician located in Golden Square, Victoria. The business employs fully qualified automotive technicians and is ARC approved for air conditioning work. It offers an onsite breakdown service. Log book servicing is provided to manufacturers' specifications for all makes and models, including four wheel drives. The business diagnoses and repairs diesel and petrol fuel injection problems, and offers dual filter kits for common rail diesel vehicles. It performs dual battery installations, installs electric brakes, alarms and immobilisers, central locking, GPS tracking, spotlights and light bars, UHF radios, head units and sound systems, and HID and LED lighting upgrades.

Alternators and starter motors are repaired or replaced with genuine or aftermarket parts. Air conditioning is repaired and re-gassed. The business handles all types of trailers and caravans, from complete rewires or LED conversions to electric brake installs and fault diagnosis. It diagnoses and repairs starters, alternators, charging systems, starting problems, battery issues, ABS systems, SRS and airbag systems, ECM units, trouble fault codes, warning light checks, immobiliser faults, and general vehicle electrics such as electric window/mirror faults, alarms and central locking, lighting and accessories. Light mechanical repairs are also performed.

Caravan owners, four-wheel-drive drivers and everyday motorists in Bendigo have plenty to say about the work coming out of this auto electrical and mechanical workshop. Customers writing about their orders describe the team as honest and reliable when diagnosing faults that had previously puzzled other mechanics, including a transfer case issue and electrical damage from a flooded vehicle, both resolved quickly and at a fraction of the expected cost. Reviews time and again mention fair pricing and the absence of unnecessary upselling, with one noting that a repair quoted elsewhere for a substantial sum was completed for a small fraction of it.

Grant and the crew earn frequent praise for being friendly, fast and efficient, and for taking the time to explain new electric brakes and other systems in plain terms. Caravan electrical upgrades, including chargers and lithium battery monitoring, are singled out for neat, professional installation. Customers also value the practical touches, such as being driven home after dropping off a vehicle and collected again once it was ready, along with clear communication throughout the job. A recurring theme is the confidence that the same problem will not need revisiting, and that assessment and advice will be straightforward.
