Bob Parkes Automotive

I cannot recommend Bob Parkes enough. They were willing to help when no one else would. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about helping. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and I couldn’t speak more highly of them. Thank you to the whole team for your outstanding service.

Called Trent with an urgent issue on my sons car. I am from out of town and needed help. Trent and the team were extremely obliging at short notice and they have not known me before. I can’t say enough about their generosity and kindness. They get 5 stars from me - really chuffed!

Family mechanic, went here for 5 years while living here. When i lost my grandma, and cut contact with my dad due to abuse, this mechanic decided to take my dads vendetta out on his behalf and rip me off, omit information from me and try to put me in double debt at christmas time. After paying for work i never agreed to multiple times, and eventually calling them out, i was told not to come back. Thanks Ollett/ Abercrombie family 👍🏼

This business has heart! I broke down 30km north of Townsville. My Coaster bus had to be towed. I rang them and even though it was a Saturday, and they were fully booked, they agreed to have a look. They stayed back past their closing time and got me back on the road. A big, big, big thank you!

These people are good humans. They stayed open so a tow truck could tow me to their workshop on a Public holiday weekend Saturday morning when everyone else was closed or had no heart. We had broken down 80 kms North of Townsville and it was quite an ordeal to get there. Chris and the team stayed open for us to arrive, disgnosed the probyin about 5 minutes ( their knowledge and professionalism was apparent!) and kindly let me keep the car safe in their workshop over the weekend, arranging details for the work that needed to be done elsewhere (specialised and needing parts that wouldn’t open till Tuesday). Chris even took us, including dog and luggage to a nearby hotel, even though he was due to start his own holiday. If I could guve them 100 stars I would - they really saved my bacon. Proper, decent people. Thankyou again for saving us.

Had my Toyota 4x4 serviced checked over. All done in the time quoted and the price changed was very good. Would recommend to use them and if iam back in Townsville I will use them again.

Having been on the road for 20 yrs, I've had dealings with various vehicle mechanics, honest & dishonest. Today my car, at short notice was able to get brakes done, I'm happy to be able to say, I'm very happy with the job, & price, pleasant people in this business, thank you
