Howard's Auto Electrical

Howard's Auto Electrical is an auto electrical business that has operated since 1989. It serves Geelong, the Surf Coast, and the Bellarine Peninsula. The business specialises in 4WD and new car fit-outs. It holds RTA AU068185. Services include repairs, upgrades, electric braking systems, lightbars, driving lights, dual battery systems, canopy fit outs, UHF radio installation, air conditioning repairs and servicing, and general electrical diagnostic and repairs.

Caravan wiring, four-wheel drive electrics and fault finding on trailer plugs feature heavily in what customers write about this Grovedale auto electrician. The name Lee, also written Leigh, appears again and again, and the praise attached to it centres on patience with questions, plain explanations of how a 12V setup works and a readiness to squeeze urgent repairs, such as failed caravan brakes, into an already full day. A point made in several accounts is the diagnosis itself: reviewers appreciate that the actual cause is tracked down and demonstrated rather than a broad parts swap being quoted, with unnecessary belt replacement specifically avoided in one case.

Various customers describe the speed of the work, some dropping in without an appointment and driving away the same afternoon or within the hour. Fairness in billing is mentioned repeatedly, including a final charge lowered because the job finished sooner than expected. Fog light repairs, Hilux and Prado wiring, Ford Territory faults and 12 pin plug issues recur, and the small-team manner, unhurried and genuinely interested in the problem, is what reviewers keep returning to.
