Tasman Auto Electrics

Tasman Auto Electrics is an auto electrician based in Cambridge, Tasmania. It services Hobart, Cambridge and Southern Tasmania, operating a workshop in Cambridge. The business specialises in auto electrical services and repairs, and offers mobile auto electrician services, including call-out and on-site repairs and installations.

It services cars, trucks, boats and earthmoving equipment. Additional services include EV and hybrid diagnostics and repairs in Southern Tasmania, automotive air conditioning repair and installation, ADAS calibration, fleet and commercial services, commercial test and tag services, 4WD electrical and canopy fit-outs, caravan electrical and off-grid systems, and breakdown and recovery.

Caravan and four-wheel-drive owners make up much of the custom, with reviewers describing solar panel and battery installations, brake controller fitting, rewiring and fault finding on vehicles and machinery such as a woodchipper. Named staff including Nick, Adam, Josh and Thomas are singled out for friendliness, knowledge and efficiency, with customers noting that questions were answered willingly and earlier work checked over for peace of mind. Prompt completion is mentioned repeatedly, covering a call-out attended quickly and a part fitted within the hour, while pricing is described as fair and transparent even when an initial estimate proved slightly low.

A recurring theme is the professional standard of the finished result, from wiring tidied and rerouted to new monitoring devices, to faults diagnosed and rectified after other workshops had failed to resolve them. The willingness to explain the work carried out, and to stand behind it, leaves customers stating they would return for further electrical repairs in the Cambridge and Hobart area, with one account of a Forst woodchipper serviced on site rounding out the picture.
