Townsville Mechanical Services

Performance tuning and general mechanical repairs at this Garbutt workshop draw consistent praise, with several customers describing work on high-performance vehicles such as a GTS and a VE SS. Reviewers often mention that the team takes visible pride in the finished result, with one noting the improved performance and responsiveness of their car after a service, and another describing a cammed build where the vehicle drove like a hot rod. Clear communication stands out as a recurring theme: customers say problems are explained thoroughly before and after the job, plans are discussed to suit individual goals, and progress updates are provided throughout.

Named staff members Ben and Pete are singled out for their patience, professionalism and willingness to answer questions, including many from less knowledgeable owners. One thing mentioned again and again is the reliability of the work, with one long-distance customer travelling from Atherton on the strength of the outcome. Fair pricing is mentioned in relation to the quality of parts used, with customers expressing confidence that the job is done properly before the car is returned.
