Wright Street Mechanical & Auto Electrical Repairs

Wright Street Mechanical & Auto Electrical Repairs is a family owned business established in 1966. It employs fully qualified mechanics and a fully qualified auto-electrician. The business has over 20 years of knowledge in the mechanical and auto-electrical realm of vehicle servicing and repairs. It specialises in most makes and models, including Subaru, Honda, Mazda, Holden, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo, Jeep, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and many more.

It is an RAA Battery Centre and a certified repair shop. It keeps updated with journal reports and by participating in courses conducted throughout the year. Its main services include log book servicing, brake servicing and repairs, transmission servicing and repairs, suspension repairs, major engine repairs, auto-electrical repairs and fitment, clutch replacement, tyres, wheel balance and alignment, European vehicle servicing and repairs, and scan tool diagnosis.

Wright Street Mechanical & Auto Electrical Repairs earns consistent praise for the calibre of its work and the straightforward manner in which it deals with customers. The business is described as family-run, and Brett, the owner, is named regularly alongside his crew for the care and honesty they bring to each job. More than one review highlights that vehicles are ready when promised and that the team takes time to explain what needs doing, which contributes to a sense of trust rather than pressure.

Fair pricing emerges as a recurring theme, with no nasty surprises on the final invoice. Communication is another point that comes up often, covering updates while a car is in the workshop and quick responses to phone enquiries. Accounts of specific jobs include a headlight repair completed promptly, timely advice about tyres and wheel alignment, general servicing, and a campervan starter motor replaced within a tight timeframe.

The knowledge of the mechanics is frequently highlighted, including one instance where a Mitsubishi van's overheating was correctly diagnosed after an earlier misdiagnosis elsewhere, saving considerable expense. Long-standing patrons speak of returning over many years, while newer customers note the friendliness and personal attention shown by Brett and the team.
