Had the compressor on my air conditioner replaced. Was finished within the time they stated, the air temp is now cooler than it was when the car was new! The best thing was it was it cost $360 less than quoted. Great to find a friendly and honest car repairer. Thank you.

live in a small town and drove to Launceston on my days off to fix my car, not expecting much since I hadn’t booked anything. John managed to squeeze me in, and the problem was diagnosed and fixed within half a day. Great service.

Love these guys. Bob and John and their team are fantastic . They have really looked after me over the years. Over and beyond. Highly recommended. Bob is the absolute best mechanic I have ever dealt with. ❤️

Took my Audi in to have the spark plugs replaced, which was completed within two or three weeks and was fine. I later asked the same mechanic if he could fix my car windows, and that’s where things went downhill. Over the next 3–4 months, I had to call him repeatedly, at least 6-7 times, just to get updates, as he never once contacted me first. Every time I called, I got the same “1–2 weeks” excuse or “don’t worry, I’ll get it fixed.” He dragged it on for months with no progress, no invoice, and even potentially made things worse with the car. After all that time and false promises, he still charged me over $500 for “trying” to fix the issue when nothing was actually done. To top it off, on the day I picked up the car, I noticed a half-drunk beer sitting in the office, a horrible look that summed up the whole experience. Very poor communication, dishonest, and unprofessional service.

Rude on multiple occasions. I thought the woman in the office was bad enough to deal with but now realise the man in the office is just as rude. Spend your money elsewhere. Such a shame after previous owner Rob was such a great person. He had all the time and patience in the world for anyone. Not so for this bunch of geriatrics in there.

My car broke down and they fixed it on the same day without a booking for a very reasonable price. I am a long time customer of that garage. They went above and beyond which rarely happens now a days.

Don’t trust them! JLH took over from our old mechanic. We service the car regularly and it’s always run well. Only had them service the car twice but we knew it wasn’t running normally. Took it to a new mechanic today, even though it wasn’t due for another 5000kms. The air and oil filters were filthy! They hadn’t been changed, or the car serviced properly at all. I was certainly charged for a full service. Shameful and blatant rip off.
