Melbourne Mobile Auto Services

Melbourne Mobile Auto Services is a mobile mechanic service that comes to the customer's home or work. The business has over a decade of experience in the automotive industry. All staff are fully qualified motor mechanics with up to date training. The business specialises in all makes and models and serves customers all over Melbourne. The main services are logbook servicing and repairs, pre-purchase inspections, and fleet servicing.

Pre-purchase inspections, servicing and repairs form the core of the work described by customers of this mobile mechanic, with Rob named repeatedly as the person behind the results. Several reviewers describe the thoroughness of the inspections, noting that potential problems and options were explained in plain language before any decision was made, and that this gave them confidence to buy a vehicle they had not seen in person, including one purchased from interstate.

Honesty is a point that comes up often, with customers describing advice that put their interests first and quotes they considered fair, alongside punctuality and the ability to fit jobs in at short notice. The mobile arrangement, in which the mechanic comes to the customer, is praised as convenient and is credited with keeping a loyal following, including one owner who has stayed for more than four years.

Reviewers also mention servicing, general repairs and diagnostic work on a rare classic car that was started successfully after a puzzling fault. Beyond the mechanical work, the manner of the mechanic stands out: polite, easy to talk to, patient in walking owners through what was being done, and generous with after-job advice and follow-up questions. The service is described as efficient, with jobs completed promptly and careful attention paid to the condition of each vehicle.
