Auto Elect

Auto Elect is an auto electrician business founded in 1987. It began as a small family-run operation. The business provides auto electrical and air conditioning services in Cairns. It works on cars, 4WDs, trucks and caravans. Auto Elect operates from a modern, fully equipped workshop using up-to-date diagnostic technology. It uses parts from reputable brands. Services include auto electrical, auto air conditioning, battery replacement, and electrical parts supply and installation.

In Cairns, Auto Elect has built a reputation through repeat praise for how its team handles auto electrical diagnosis and repair. Customers whose vehicles needed alternator work describe diligent fault-finding that located the root cause, followed by a same-day exchange, while others who arrived with failed airbag wiring connectors found the job taken on immediately and handled with a smile at the front desk. A recurring theme across feedback is Brett, named repeatedly for professionalism, patience in discussing complex solar set-ups and a willingness to go beyond what the job strictly required to resolve difficult issues.

Reviewers often mention being squeezed in on busy days and vehicles returned in time for long trips south. Air conditioning work features strongly, with one account of a second opinion overturning a far more expensive diagnosis and delivering a working, far cheaper repair; bulb replacements on modern vehicles also appear, completed thoroughly rather than partially. Praise extends to the wider crew, described as friendly, helpful and professional, with jobs handled smoothly, workmanship respected and minor parts supplied without charge. The recurring picture is of expertise, clear advice and genuine effort.
