Had a great lad named Fan come to my place to conduct a diagnostic on my car. Within a very short period he found the issue. Thanks Auto King. Great work guys. Loved the service and price
Please be aware mobile mechanics can't do a lot of repairs on site due to no hoist available. So if your car fails a roadworthy you have only 14 days to have it repaired. The problem is most service repair centre's are fully booked out up to three weeks out.So you will be required to have another Roadworthy done at full cost. Why 2 stars because AutoKing should notify it's clients of this 14 day period before starting the roadworthy. Avoid on site Roadworthy certificates lt will definitely cost you more.
TLDR; do not get a road worthy certificate with this place. I want to give 0 stars, but can't. I've never posted a review on Google before but have been forced to for this. Was involved in getting a road worthy certificate for a car being sold. A mechanic came out and completed through the service in a yard by my flat. Through the service there were a few issues noted by the mechanic likely prompting fixing before the RWC could be issue At the end of the service the mechanic had scribed 5 points of issues needing fixed, as well as the details of the car/ service. He did not let me take a photo of this assuring that he would email out the report of things needing fixed. No email was ever sent despite chasing up on this. The mechanic denied every having a list in his booklet, instead saying that he left it on the dashboard - this did not occur. The only thing left in the car was the brake checker In the end no report was issued therefore could fixed any of the supposed issues therefore could not get on with getting a road worthy. I suspect this is so the mechanic would not have to re-examine the car, or chase up on the issues being fixed to aid in issuing the road worthy within 14 days. All in all, went somewhere else. Road worthy has been sorted within a few hours Bottom line. Avoid this crowd
I would urge anyone looking for a mechanic to look anywhere else before engaging Auto King. Their backyard mechanic has done more than $22,000 worth of damage to my vehicle - all stemming from a simple sensor replacement. Their mechanic tried to rip out the old sensor and broke it, and then took to my engine with a crowbar to try and get the rest of the sensor out, all while swearing and carrying on during the process. When I phoned to complain, I was told I had to fill out a “customer satisfaction” form by a very rude woman who didn’t seem to care about the damage their company has caused. I am now having to engage legal representation to resolve this in court. Do NOT use AutoKing - go literally anywhere else.
The Mechanic that came out to me was super efficient and good at his job. My car wouldn't start and within in hour he had diagnosed it was not in fact the engine but a chip my key that was causing the issue! And sure enough it was. The price is reasonable for the service you get with these guys, I will go with them again and recommend them to my friends because I was impressed. Great work 👏
The staff on the phone are very rude. I will never use them again. customer service down the drain! You better off using a more trusted source such as "Mycar" Mobile. As they would offer cheaper option and a fantastic service. This place is a massive rip off. Never again!
