I had a very disappointing experience dealing with Andrew. Communication was poor, and I felt pressured into paying unexpected storage fees that had never been clearly agreed to in writing. My vehicle was even refused for collection by my tow truck despite me arranging pickup within the timeframe discussed. A professional business should communicate clearly, treat customers respectfully, and honour what has been agreed. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

Friendly, professional, efficient and helpful. My car broke down in Launceston and I was recommended DKW by a friend. Rang them to explain the situation and they were nothing but helpful and honest about when their next availability was and other businesses nearby. I chose to stick with them as they were recommended to me. They kept me up to date on progress made, costs so far and costs expected to come. My car was actually ready a week before I expected it to be. I wasn’t able to collect for a few days due to work commitments which wasn’t a problem. When I collected the car I was shown the problem parts removed from my car, given a free air freshener + Easter egg and they even rounded my bill down to the nearest 10. I have just had my other car in for major works at a brands garage in Launceston where communication was awful, organisation non existent and repair time more than double planned, it’s refreshing to see such a well ran privately owned mechanic.

I cannot recommend DKW enough I've taken our car there since being in Launceston and they're super friendly, honest, and really reasonably priced. Highly recommend to anyone in the area! Lovely people! Thank you, guys 😊
