He was kind, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Thank you for your excellent service and support, I really appreciate it! 🙌☺️
I have been a Lube Mobile customer for many years. Last week, I booked a mechanic to replace the front brake pads on my Mercedes C250. The mechanic claimed that the brake rotors also had to be replaced and quoted me around $1,500 for the job. He also said that my brake system had somehow been “upgraded”—almost as if it had happened magically! I declined the repair. After arguing with the mechanic and contacting customer service, I still had to pay $105 for essentially nothing. I then contacted another mobile mechanic, who replaced both the front brake rotors and brake pads for less than half of Lube Mobile’s quoted price. Absolutely ridiculous.
Convenient that they come to your home as someone who is dealing with a lot of health challenges. But that’s kinda where the compliments end. I booked a log book service and parts that were part of that service were then charged as extra. Service ended up being double the quoted amount and was told my windscreen wipers needed replacing but it wouldn’t be getting done because knock-off time was 4pm so he wouldn’t have time and to go to Supercheap and get it done there. All on top of being told my car was would be good for nothing but the scrap yard in 3 years because of a tiny unverified patch of rust, that apparently “cannot be fixed”. Was left feeling very upset about my car and with double the bill. But if it’s going to be nothing but scrap in 3 years, why did I bother?!
Promptly arrived with pleasant disposition to our car VW Jetta 2006. After listening to our issues he immediately suggested we drive the car to his workshop for deeper inspection. Where the story turns expensive. We recieved a diagnosis of the issues, as well as a full 10 k service, $750! Plus front and rear shock replacement $2400, correctly diagnosed yellow engine light as clogged intake manifold regulator, suggested full replacement $1200, not cleaning. Plus call out fee $400. Obviously this old car isnt worth spending $5k on repairs so we decided not to proceed. Alas we were left with $400 call out fee which seems a lot for a 1 hour inspection and plugging in a computer. After looking up price of parts online and asking other mechanics opinions we are taking it to another garage to get the jobs done for half the price
Don’t even bother with Lube Mobile, this is our first and last time using them. My husband called at 10:30am to get someone to come out to replace a tyre. We were told someone would come out between 12pm-2pm. At 2:15pm no one had arrived so we called and they said the technician was on the way and would call us when he’s close by. At 2:45pm we received a call saying the technician was over an hour away from us still getting a job done and wouldn’t be able to come today. They knew we were at a shopping centre carpark and had waited over 4 hours for them to arrive, just to be disappointed. Such a waste of time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend their services.
Polite and efficient, the mechanic made a thorough inspection of the car, explained the issues, recommended remedies and submitted a detailed quote for approval. He then ordered and collected the parts required for the routine service and the additional repairs.
We coordinated with Sam from LubeMobile to come out and do a pre-purchase inspection. We got sent 4 videos and a PPSR check. Only tyres were flagged, but nothing else to indicate any issues with the vehicle. Vehicle was purchase as a result. A dealership service a week late indicated nearly $9,000 worth of issues with the car. Useless and unhelpful service.
