Melbourne-Auto-Works RACV auto care centre draws consistent praise from drivers in Richmond for the way inspections and repairs are handled. Roadworthy certificates and pre-purchase checks feature prominently, with customers valuing the thoroughness of the assessment and the clarity of the written report that follows. A detail many reviews return to is the communication before and after the job, whether through video footage of a fault, a phone call walking through the quote, or a follow-up once the work is finished. Named staff including Colin, Carlos, Rob and Karen are singled out for their knowledge and patience, particularly when explaining options and sharing maintenance advice.

Reviewers also highlight same-day completion of repairs and roadworthy assessments, fair and reasonable pricing for the standard of work, and the friendly, customer-focused approach of the whole team. Brake pad replacement and breakdown repairs appear among the tasks described, and several long-term clients mention returning for more than a decade, citing trust built over repeated visits. The workshop's ability to put owners at ease during stressful situations, from a tow-truck arrival to a second-hand vehicle purchase, is a recurring theme in the feedback.
