Would not recommend for diagnostic work – 0 stars. After spending around $900 on parts and labour, my car was still not fixed. I eventually had to take it to a VW specialist, who correctly diagnosed the fault and repaired it. My experience was that the diagnosis seemed to be based largely on reading fault codes with a scanner and replacing parts, rather than carrying out detailed diagnostic testing to identify the root cause. As it turns out, a scanner is a tool, not a crystal ball. The end result was an expensive exercise, a car that still wasn't fixed, and a second repair bill from someone who was able to properly diagnose the issue. If you're looking for someone to read error codes, you may have a different experience. If you're looking for accurate fault diagnosis on a complex vehicle issue, I'd suggest exercising caution and considering a specialist first. Brian has been great! We have used him twice now and hes been super responsive and proactive in diagnosing and fixing our van. He also is one of the few that can come out on the weekend which is very convenient.
