RAY! So many compliments to give! He felt genuine and authentic via our first phone call, honestly seems like the man doesn't stop working, but he loves helping people in need. I called Ray as my car had broken down at home. Ray asked me to try and start my car and advised straight away it was my battery. This guys is above and beyond, I just replaced a few parts myself and was left with a leak that drove me insane trying to find, gave him a call and explained my situation, then he told me how to find it and now i’m on the road, was the 5th person i called and the only one to pick up, legend!!
Called and booked a pre purchase inspection which he agreed to, asked him to send me a rough time so i could let the sales rep know when to have the car out the front of the yard ready for him. Never got back to me, called again no answer, called later and was told he would get back to me that afternoon and never did. I tried texting multiple times letting him know all the details and that i needed a time, still no reply. Then i saw all the reviews of people being ghosted with no call no shows. It got to the morning of the inspection with no contact still so i ended up cancelling the booking, which they also never responded to, and rebooking with another company who came out last minute.
Spoke to Ray on the phone one day, describing a failed clutch on a very old Honda Jazz. The following day he came out to assess the problem and provided a quote. I admit the quote initially seemed quite high, but I needed the car running quickly and didn't have the luxury of taking it anywhere due to work commitments and it not being driveable. Decided to go ahead and he was there the very next day and spent a few (what appeared to be very hot horrible hours in the sun). by the end the car wasn't just driving, it was like a new car as it turns out the clutch had been gradually failing for a while. Very happy with the work done.
