NorthSide Auto Electrics

NorthSide Auto Electrics is an auto electrician business in Sydney, established in 1997. The business has over 35 years of experience in the auto electrical and car air conditioning industry and is ARC accredited. The team includes David (General Manager & Head Technician), Hoss (Senior Technician), Marie (Workshop Co-Ordinator), and Sam (Apprentice Technician). NorthSide Auto Electrics is a Recommended Installer for Safety Dave.

In 2023, the business won the Local Small Business Awards for Automotive Services and was a finalist for the 2024 Local Business Awards for the Northern Districts. It also won the Quality Business Awards for the best Auto Electrical Service in the city of Ryde. Services include auto electrical installations, diagnosis and repairs, automotive air conditioning, 4WD and camping electrical setups, emergency and work vehicle lighting and accessories, dashcams, reverse cameras, parking sensors, alternators, starter motors, batteries, SRS airbag faults, and trailer lighting and rewiring.

Motorists, caravan owners and riders who arrive with stubborn electrical gremlins form the steady stream of work at this Gladesville workshop, where David is named again and again for the sharpness of his diagnosis and the finish he delivers. Several accounts describe faults that had defeated other outfits, among them a car that would not start and a Forester whose cooling had long since given up, and both were tracked down and put right without delay.

A point that comes up often is the honesty of the advice, with choices presented across a range of budgets instead of one costly route. The feedback covers auto electrical work, air conditioning servicing, a replacement main engine battery, a DC to DC converter for charging a camping battery, a solar setup for a van, an extra OEM horn blended into the factory trim, and repairs to a snapped motorcycle indicator.

Kat and the wider team are called easy to deal with from the first call to pick-up, and jobs are described as finished when promised and within the figure quoted. Those same reviewers value being steered towards trusted contacts for work beyond the workshop's scope, an integrity that keeps custom coming back. Vehicle electrics, cooling and accessory fitting sit at the core of what is praised here.
