BE CAREFUL OF QUICKFIX TRICKS TO RIP YOU OFF. Today (28/05/26) I called QuickFix at 395 Sheridan Street, Cairns to ask for help to change my car tyre. The staff answered the phone and asked me to come bring my car. I came in the morning and showed him that my back left tyre has worn out and is in a dangerous state. I asked if he could change the tyre with my spare tyre which is still in good condition. He said he cannot change only 1 tyre coz the right tyre is not good but not as bad as the left one. I asked how much is one tyre, he checked on his computer and answered $200. I asked if there any cheaper tyre, he said none. He was reluctant to help and looking for excuses to refuse to help me. It was a very bad service and I smell greed because he wanted to sell $200 tyre while there are brand new cheaper tyres probably costs only $150 each or less. Ladies, don't come to QuickFix coz the service was disrespectful and bad. He seems like a person who likes to discriminate customer. At first he said I must change both back tyres because "He Has a Duty of Care". But when I refused to buy a $200 tyre with him, he refused to change my tyre which is in dangerous state. Duty of care? Bulldust!

Shane at Serv Auto went above and beyond to fix our car, The part needed was shipped in and the communication throughout was reassuring. Cost was reasonable and would highly recommended. 👍🏻

Couldn’t fault the experience with Quick Fix Mechanic. They were quick to get everything sorted, kept me updated the whole way through, and were upfront and fair with pricing instead of trying to overcharge on parts. Hard to find mechanics that are this honest and efficient these days. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely stoked with the service from Quick Fix Mechanic. Excellent communication from start to finish, extremely fast turnaround, and genuinely honest about parts pricing which is pretty rare these days. Really appreciated the transparency and professionalism. Highly recommend if you want someone reliable and easy to deal with.

Recently had some work done by Shane and his team. Ive made a facebook post to let people know that this is an honest ethical mechanic and you should definitely go here. Im late to google review bu this is it: No bs, no hidden charges, competent and efficient. I havent felt safe in my van after my last mechanic serviced it, but finally I have this knowing Im good now after Shane and his team have had it. The work is done so efficiently here too. First issue was on a public holiday, I called the nunber on google - got it sorted the morning of first business day open. My second time using this mechanic, it was in and out in a few hours. The third visit was for a big problem and it was sorted within 4 days of booking. Fast, honest, and reliable mechanic. Recommend for single women who know nothing about cars too, u wont get ripped here.

I went there to fix a low beam issue and left with a broken tail light. While I was parked in their yard, one of the mechanics backed his truck into my car. Instead of apologizing, he stepped out and started swearing. When I spoke to the owner, Shane, he tried to blame me, claiming I parked the "wrong way"—despite there being no signs and their own staff driving the same way. He initially refused to take responsibility. It took several return visits and a firm stand on my part for him to finally agree to pay for the part and fix the damage his team caused. This is the most dishonest mechanic I have ever encountered. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM! Paid almost 3k which is what they quoted me and said that my car needed a list of things repaired to pass roadworthy. Turns out they didn’t even do anything within the two weeks the car was parked in their workshop. Took my car to another workshop and they pointed out to me all the repairs it is now needed which is everything that this workshop listed on an invoice to me. Was very shocked and pissed off to find out that nothing was even touched nor repaired.
