Ring Road Auto Electrical

Ring Road Auto Electrical is an auto electrical business based in Melbourne, beside the Ring Road / Deer Park Bypass. It has over 25 years of experience in the auto electrical industry. The owner or founder is Charles Farrugia, an auto electrician.

The business holds ARC Tick approval number AU28165. It services all car makes and models, and all truck makes and models, including Japanese (Hino, Isuzu, Nissan UD) and American (Kenworth, WesternStar, Mack, Sterling, Freightliner, International, Navistar) with Cummins, Cat, Detroit applications. Its main services are electrical repairs and mobile auto electrical services.

Auto electrical diagnosis and repair for cars, utes and vans is the core of this Ravenhall operation, and the feedback gathered around it centres on the depth of knowledge Charles brings to fault finding. Reviewers describe him as patient and generous with explanation, taking the time to talk through what a problem is and what steps to take next rather than simply returning an invoice, and one account notes that he turned up punctually with the right preparation before outlining possible solutions.

A detail many reviews return to is his willingness to attend at short notice when a vehicle will not start or lights have failed, with no-spark issues, tail lights and brake lights all resolved on the spot. Several customers also highlight the cost of the work, describing advice on more economical fixes that avoided unnecessary expense. Larger projects feature too, including modifications to a ute and a planned van rewire, and reviewers mention that he stayed in contact throughout, kept going until the fault was found, and treated the vehicle carefully, even coordinating with a transport company before a car travelled interstate.
