Sydney City Auto Centre

Sydney City Auto Centre is a mechanics business established in 1996. It provides auto repairs and service for family cars to light commercial vehicles. The workshop services all cars, vans, utes and trucks under manufacturer's warranty. It is an authorised Pink Slip and Blue Slip inspection station, and an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station (AUVIS).

It runs Vehicle eSafety checks electronically sent to RMS. The business specialises in electrical fault finding including starting issues, wiring issues and engine light diagnostics. It offers log book servicing and fleet servicing. The workshop is equipped with computerised engine diagnostic and scanning equipment. A quote is provided before any repairs are undertaken. It is located in Camperdown.

Puncture repairs, cooling system work, mechanical and auto electrical repairs, suspension and wheel alignment jobs, engine cleaning, power steering and routine servicing all appear among the work customers bring to this Camperdown workshop, along with tyre and inspection services. A handful of customers describe the team as honest and reliable, a point that comes up often in accounts of long-standing relationships covering multiple vehicles, from a Mercedes and a Fiat to a Corolla and a fleet of utes. Reviews time and again mention that faults are fixed quickly, that vehicles are returned in a timely manner, and that pricing is fair and transparent, with costs explained before work proceeds.

Named staff member Paul draws praise for friendliness, clear communication and a willingness to explain what needs doing without upselling. Customers also note that additional problems are identified during a job, that the booking process is straightforward, and that the workshop accommodates urgent repairs at short notice, including a suspension, alignment, engine clean and steering job completed within a single day. The willingness to take on both private cars and commercial vehicles underpins the trust that brings people back.
