ViewMyCar Mobile Mechanic Sunshine Coast

ViewMyCar Mobile Mechanic Sunshine Coast is a family owned business. Its founding director is Mike Foley, a qualified technician with over 15 years experience. Mike Foley obtained his TAE and taught students in CertIII and IV in Automotive Mechanics at a local college. He founded and built his first successful mechanical business in Brisbane from 2013 to 2019, sold it in 2019, and then built his second mobile mechanical business on the Sunshine Coast.

He is also the founding director of AutoEd, an online automotive car safety education program. ViewMyCar provides logbook services, mechanical diagnosis and repairs, pre-purchase inspections, trailer services and breakdown assistance. It services the Sunshine Coast, including Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Caloundra, Bokarina, Warana and Wurtulla.

Vehicle owners bringing cars in for servicing, pre-purchase inspections and breakdown repairs on the Sunshine Coast describe consistently thorough work from Mike at ViewMyCar Mobile Mechanic. Several customers note that faults overlooked elsewhere, including during a dealer servicing program, were identified and explained, with photographs used to show what was wrong and what had been fixed. A point that comes up often is the straight, transparent communication before and after each job, whether a pre-purchase inspection report, a major engine repair or an emergency call when a car would not start.

More than one review highlights fair and reasonable pricing, with no pressure to approve unnecessary work, and the willingness to explain options and demonstrate the problem directly. Mike is named across the feedback for his friendliness, patience and willingness to stay back until the job is right, including complex engine work on a Toyota Prado and a Fortuner service. Long-standing customers return for years and trust him with the whole family's vehicles, citing reliability, punctuality and clean, correct results across servicing, inspections and auto tune-ups.
