Barton's Auto Electrical

Today was my second time having work done on my vehicle with Barton's, they have blown me away again with their exceptional level of care, service and advice. My vehicle is now even better than what I was expecting and for a price I was incredibly happy with. I can't sing their praises highly enough. Thanks, legends!

Genuinely quite pleased with the customer service at Barton's Auto Electrical, they seem very knowledgeable and transparent, and their pricing is fair and reasonable so far for the work and testing I've needed done.

Just today, 2nd March 2026 I left my 2012 Hilux with Barton’s for repair to a faulty fuel gauge. I spoke to Rick on the counter who was happy to discuss the issue and gave me an approximate quote of $450 to have the faulty circuit board in the instrument cluster repaired. This turned out to be the exact problem and was repaired for the quoted amount with the assurance of no problem returning the vehicle if an issue arose. So glad I went with these guys after speaking to staff at Hortons who quoted $750 and would not even consider my suggestion to investigate the instrument cluster as it was a common issue with this vehicle as per forums and reviews. If I had proceeded I’d have paid $750 for them to rip out the tank and replace a perfectly good sender unit while still not fixing the fault. While I know sender units can be faulty, it was the offhanded dismissal that it could have been anything else that prompted me to look further. Nothing but praise for the Bartons team and couldn’t recommend them enough. Grant.

Barton's were fantastic to deal with. Managed to squeeze us in during a busy period, fixed our issue of drivers side window not working and price was excellent. Highly recommend.

Thank you guys for booking us in at short notice to have our rear indicators fixed. We discovered they weren’t working half way from Goondiwindi and it was quite stressful not knowing that we had faulty indicators whilst travelling. Out of our hands!
