I have servicing my cars here for the last few years and I was always found the guys really good to deal with. Izzy goes above and beyond what you normally expect, coming out to meet me when my car had broken down or running around to find a part that was hard to find. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Last weekend the car wouldn’t start and RACV diagnosed an alternator problem. With City Service Mechanics closed on Sunday and me needing the car urgently for work, I contacted two other highly-rated mechanics and was quoted $950 and $1,500, both with a 2-3 day wait. On Monday I took the car to Izzy. He quickly identified the real problem, fixed it the same day and sent me on my way - no drama, no unnecessary work and, incredibly, no charge. What really stands out is the way Izzy treats his customers. He takes the time to get to know both the people and the vehicles he works on, remembers customers by name, communicates clearly, and provides honest advice without any pressure or upselling. In more than 45 years of owning cars in Australia and the UK, City Service Mechanics is one of the best workshops I have ever dealt with. I rang Izzy for an urgent job, as I'm not from Melbourne but had family at the RMH. Izzy and his team looked over my car for some time before offering me some advice to get me out of trouble.
