I’ve been a customer of Jo’s since the early days, around five or six years ago when he was just starting out as a mobile mechanic, and I was lucky enough to be one of his first customers. I had to stop taking my car to Jo for a while after buying my Ford Ranger from Trinity Ford, Cairns because of the warranty, but recently I was finally able to take it back to Mueller Automotive to have my brakes done — and I honestly couldn’t have been happier to be back. Jo and his team were fantastic, and the price came in around $800 cheaper than what I had been quoted by Trinity Ford. But it’s not just the price or the quality of the work that makes Mueller Automotive stand out. There is such a lovely, friendly and personal feel to the whole place. The receptionist is absolutely lovely, the waiting/reception area is comfortable and welcoming, and you genuinely feel like a valued customer rather than another vehicle moving through a production line. It has been wonderful to watch Jo go from a young mobile mechanic building his business to now having his own busy workshop and a team of mechanics working alongside him. I’m incredibly proud to have been one of those early customers and to see what he has built. Fantastic workmanship, honest and very reasonable pricing, and genuinely lovely people. I highly recommend this garage! I went there because I was having issues with my car, and I left feeling much more reassured. The team was incredibly friendly, professional, and took the time to clearly explain what was wrong with my car. They made everything easy to understand and never made me feel pressured. This is the 2nd time I've used their services. On this occassion, it was an urgent repair. Even though it was Monday morning, they squeezed me in and had me mobile again (including ordering in parts) and completed the job in a couple of hours. Additionally, it was all done with respect and smiles. The car is running smoothly and the bill was appropriate, with no hidden charges. Quality service.

Great service from the team. The team is happy to help and prices are fair and reasonable. We had an issue with an engine part that needed replacing and they made it happen and helped us as soon as possible. We had to wait for a few days to get the part and then they fitted it the next day. So all up it took 4 business days to sort out the problem which is great considering we had to wait for the part to arrive and some dealerships are booked out for a month in advance and we are back on the road again. They were recommended to us by a dealership in town. They also speak several languages including German (Deutsch) and Spanish (Espanol) if that assits you.
