I seriously considered not posting this review because I respect small businesses and don’t like leaving negative feedback. However, after our horrific experience, I feel it’s important to share in case it helps someone else avoid the same situation. We had an engine replacement completed on our car through Norwood Auto Services, which cost us over $20,000. When you spend that kind of money, you expect the job to be done properly and to drive away with peace of mind. A few days after picking up the vehicle, we discovered serious issues with the installation, including missing bolts and a loose turbo manifold. It was incredibly frustrating and concerning after such a major expense. Due to the warranty, Derek covered some of the cost for the work that needed to be rectified. However, even after that we had to return to the workshop multiple times because new problems kept appearing. The final time we brought the vehicle back because it wasn’t running properly, we were told no faults could be found. Still concerned, we decided to take it to another diesel mechanic. They found additional missing bolts and a significant diesel leak that had not been identified. When you spend thousands on an engine replacement, you expect reliability and peace of mind — not ongoing stress and doubt about whether your vehicle will hold up. Based on our experience we would not recommend this mechanic for a major job like an engine replacement.

Excellent service from Derick. Had my car serviced, took it back next day for another problem, fixed at no charge and my car was delivered back to my work place. Derick's manners and work ethics are excellent and very hard to find. I have been to a lot of mechanics but Norwood Auto Services have proven to be outstanding. Definitely recommend. Leonie

Great customer service, Derick takes great care of all of his customers. Had a radiator failure, replaced by the next day with great communication. Would recommend.
