Auto King Mobile Mechanics Cairns North

Auto King Mobile Mechanics was founded in July 2006 and operates as a franchise. The Cairns North branch is run by owner-mechanic Jay, who has over 25 years of experience and has been a mobile mechanic since 2009. Auto King Mobile Mechanics has 40 vehicles on the road.

The Cairns North branch services the Cairns region in Queensland and surrounding areas including Cairns, Aeroglen, Edge Hill, Manoora, and Manunda. Auto King Mobile Mechanics offers mobile car services, mobile car repairs, mobile pre-purchase and inspection services, and mobile roadworthy certificates. It has an upfront pricing policy.

Punctual, thorough mobile servicing is the theme that runs through the feedback for this Cairns North operation, with customers repeatedly noting that the mechanic arrives when promised and works efficiently without leaving a mess behind. Roadworthy certificates and safety inspections feature prominently, and several reviewers describe inspections that covered the interior, exterior, underside and engine bay, along with road and brake testing. A tune-up is also mentioned, with the work finished promptly and the vehicle returned to the road the same day in one account.

Clear communication stands out, as drivers appreciate having the condition of their car explained in everyday language before and after the job, and being kept informed at every stage. Named staff including Patrick, Phillip, Elcio and Josh come in for particular praise for politeness, kindness and professionalism, and the same warmth is credited to the wider team. Reviewers also highlight trust in the mechanic's judgement and the practical advice offered. Mobile roadworthy inspections arranged quickly for the day needed, fast but thorough workmanship and a friendly, easy manner are all singled out as reasons customers would call on the service again.
