Cairns Total Auto Fix

Cairns Total Auto Fix is a mechanics business that has been operating since 1994. John Casella is the owner and sole operator of the business, and he is a fully qualified mechanic with over 40 years of experience. It serves Cairns and surrounding areas including Palm Cove and Gordonvale. Services cover mechanical fault finding, repairs, servicing and safety checks for cars, 4WDs, commercial vehicles and whole fleets.

Brake work and routine servicing emerge as the tasks Cairns Total Auto Fix handles most often, and the reports that cluster around John describe a mechanic who is honest, informative and evidently proud of the finish he achieves. Fair, clearly itemised pricing recurs across the feedback, with servicing frequently coming in at or below the figure originally quoted. A point made in several accounts is his habit of separating repairs needed immediately from those that can safely wait, so that over-servicing is avoided, and one account recalls him pointing a customer towards an exhaust specialist rather than accepting payment for work beyond his own scope.

Communication rates just as strongly: callers receive advice over the phone, a vehicle making an unusual noise was inspected the same day it was reported, and diagnoses follow unhurried listening rather than guesswork. Smaller kindnesses are remembered too, among them replacing a globe and tightening loose screws at no extra charge. Several long-term clients have entrusted their vehicles to him for years, some for decades, valuing the guidance and the referrals he provides. Dependable repairs, delivered promptly and at the agreed cost, are what the accounts consistently describe.
