Cairns Auto Repairs

Cairns Auto Repairs was decently priced, and clear in their communication outlining works completed. Couldn't fault the work completed.

Best mechanic I have ever been to. Donny is very thorough and shows you what parts he has replaced and what he has done. Since moving to the Sunshine Coast we have not found anyone like him. Very fair price aswell.

This mechanic take the time to check my car on last minute even on his fully booked day. Nothing important but he find the problem in 2 minutes. Thank you so much again for your time.

Would highly recommend Donny and his team!! We came to Donny after a terrible experience at another mechanic in Cairns and we are so glad we did. He was willing to help us out on the spot by taking a look and giving us a second opinion on whether our car issues were urgent or not before our trip up North. We booked in to have the issues fixed a few weeks later and were kept in the loop with texts and photos while the car was in his shop. We really appreciated Donny’s honesty, communication, and the way he got the job done quickly and thoroughly. Thank you!!

Donny has been my trusty mechanic for the last few months since I bought my van back in October. He’s done some serious work on my van and not only told me what needed to be done but also explained everything and showed photos as evidence of said changes. Donny was very thorough and honest about what needed to be done ASAP and what could wait which I appreciated. I would without a doubt recommend Donny and his team with any vehicle.

Every now and then my hubby and I remember our time in Cairns and how we had the best mechanic. Three years on and we still remember 😂 Really helped us out with some car issues. Genuinely the most honest and sincere (and of course skilled) mechanic we have met. Got our mate onto him too. Thanks Donny 👌

I first knew about Cairns Auto Repairs when my friend wanted to buy a second-hand car. Donny was very honest and told the truth between my friend (the buyer) and the seller. The seller thought from his mechanic that the car was fine, but after checking, it was not. Donny not only spoke but also had photos as proof. From that moment, I knew that Donny is an honest mechanic. After that, every time I wanted to buy a car, I always did a pre-purchase inspection at Cairns Auto Repairs. I did it three times. Two cars were bad based on the checks (one of them from a famous second-hand car shop in Cairns). Finally, the third car was good. Even though it was more expensive and over my budget, I was happy because I know it is safe to drive and will not have big service costs later. Today, I came back for a service after two years. They have moved to a bigger place. I returned because I remembered how honest Donny is, and my old mechanic is quite far. It was a surprise when Donny showed me some notes from my previous service. Some parts that should have been changed were not. Thanks a lot, Donny. It is hard to find a good and honest mechanic in this time. I really recommend this place!
