Outstanding service from Canberra Auto Electrical! Took my car in to get a front and rear dashcam installed and they did an immaculate job. The hardwiring is completely seamless with absolutely zero exposed cables, and they even helped make sure it was all set up and ready to go. Professional, efficient, and great communication throughout. If you want a perfectly clean dashcam install, this is the place to go!!
Honestly, such a great experience. We had issues with our new head unit and reverse camera, and I even suggested removing it so we could replace it. But he stayed committed and worked through the problem until everything was up and running properly. In the end, my reverse camera was installed perfectly. His dedication and persistence to make sure I left happy really stood out. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his work and his customers. They truly deserve the Local Business Awards finalist recognition. I don’t think you’ll find anyone more honest or reliable. Fully deserves 5 stars!! Thank you so much.

I used this business before to fix the power port on my Mitsubishi Outlander and paid $94.35. A few weeks later, I texted late at night (around 10:50 PM) about another car issue — a different vehicle — just to ask politely instead of calling. The next day, I received an unexpectedly rude and unprofessional response. I was told off for texting at night, even though my intention was to be considerate and not disturb by calling. Honestly, his attitude made me feel really disappointed and sad. I was a returning customer who planned to use his service again and even spoke in a friendly manner. I never complained in a harsh way, but somehow I was treated very disrespectfully. I still wonder if I did something wrong to deserve that kind of response. Ironically, only a few days after that, the repair he did on my Outlander failed again. When I asked if it was under warranty, he immediately refused and blamed it on “whatever I was plugging into it.” I then took the car to another auto electrician (Asian Auto Repair in Mitchell), who quickly identified the real issue and fixed it properly for just $30 — a fraction of what I paid earlier. I’ve noticed several other negative reviews about this business, which makes me think I wasn’t the only one who experienced such treatment. I genuinely hope he learns from this and improves both his attitude and his workmanship. Professionalism and respect go a long way.
Had a dashcam installed with parking mode that I bought myself online (Viofo A229 Plus). From booking through to installation they were really helpful in answering my questions. Installation looks super clean and the dashcam was also setup for me on top just the actual installation. Highly recommend!
