Car Mechanical Services

Car Mechanical Services is a family owned and operated auto repair and maintenance business that has been providing services for over 40 years. It is located in Fisher, Canberra, and provides service in Weston Creek. The business services all types of cars, including European cars, and fixes all makes and models of vehicles.

It uses factory-grade diagnostic tools and is a cost-effective alternative to dealerships. Car Mechanical Services offers all servicing, brake and clutch specialists, pre-purchase inspections, tyre and battery replacement, and breakdown service. The business is nominated in the Canberra Region Business Awards.

Owners of both older and newer vehicles rely on this Fisher workshop for routine servicing and more complex repairs, with mechanical faults resolved thoroughly. Several customers describe the expertise applied to diagnostics, including a case where another workshop could not correct multiple issues on a Toyota Aurion and the team here returned it to proper running order. Scheduled maintenance, timing belt replacements on European cars, tyre repairs and a 60,000 kilometre service all appear among accounts of completed work.

Reviews regularly refer to that the team explains what is needed before starting, makes contact when extra work arises and supplies itemised billing, which customers say gives them confidence in the quoted price. Charlie, the owner, is named warmly for his knowledgeable and engaging manner, while the wider crew is described as courteous, friendly and willing to offer advice even beyond booked jobs. Practical touches also stand out, such as accepting a vehicle dropped off the night before and replacing filters and topping up fluids during scheduled maintenance, leaving owners assured their cars are in sound order for upcoming travel.
