N&D Auto Services

N&D Auto Services is a locally owned car repair and servicing workshop in Canberra. The workshop has served the greater Mitchell area for over 20 years. Jake leads the team, which is committed to ongoing training and development through various workshops. Services include mechanical repairs, log book services, battery checks and replacements, engine diagnostics, cooling system service, and brake and clutch service.

Automotive repair and electrical work at this Mitchell workshop draws consistent praise from reviewers, who describe a team that diagnoses faults properly before carrying out repairs. Several customers highlight that unnecessary work is avoided, with parts replaced only when genuinely needed, and that quotes are explained clearly before any job proceeds. Jake is named repeatedly for his courteous and patient approach, including one account of a power steering problem on an interstate trip that was looked at promptly, and another where a vehicle was assessed and the owner advised not to drive it until fixed.

Reviewers also mention the courtesy car arrangement, fair and reasonable pricing, and the willingness of staff to talk through findings without being condescending. Long-standing customers describe returning over many years, bringing multiple vehicles, and entrusting everything from routine servicing on secondhand cars to work on a motorhome. Quick turnaround, efficient communication and accommodating attitudes when unexpected issues arise, such as a broken window, come up often. The general tone is of an honest, knowledgeable operation where explanations and options are given freely.
