Efi Automotive

My engine had been running bad for a couple of weeks. I dropped off my fuel injectors for cleaning and servicing and they did the job in one day. Unfortunately, my injectors couldn’t be saved but they gave me some great advice and outstanding service. Highly recommended.

The previous owner (Dave) was really great - his team used to be my go-to place for car servicing. However, since the shop was taken over by new management, I can no longer recommend EFI Automotive to the people I know. The quality and safety of their work under the new management have been very disappointing. Just recently, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from EFI Automotive. After experiencing ongoing issues, I took my car to Specialist Auto Electric in Cambridge for a second opinion. Their inspection revealed a very concerning discovery that an additional wire had been installed from the BSI feed at the engine bay fuse panel to the power steering feed, where the original wiring had been cut. Even though, they've agreed to compensate me for what happened. The “workaround” they've done to my car was not only improper but also unsafe, and it could have caused serious electrical problems or further damage to my vehicle.

Thought this was going to be my goto car service mechanics, now I wouldn't go near the place. After a shock discovery this week of loose wheel nuts, I was told in a phone call to EFI that the works listed on the invoice, as required for a 20k warranty service, and specifically the removal of all wheels and dedusting of brakes, wasn't necessarily done. This is completely unacceptable, could void my warranty and makes me wonder what else wasn't done.

Dave has saved my car many times and the most recent one happend today. Dave always knows what happend and how to fix it. I highly recommend the Efi Automotive! Efi loyal fan ownes Mazda 3 white

Used Dave and the guys a few times now and they’ve been nothing short of epic! Really got me out of trouble! Had an absolute nightmare (bad injector, caused cylinder one to be totally useless). Dave managed to sort me out a replacement engine, and carry out all the work in a two week time frame whilst I was out of state. Cannot thanks the guys enough for all their hard work, and I cannot recommend them more highly! Any mechanical/electrical work needed go and see these guys!
