German Automotive

German Automotive is an independent automotive service and repair business based in Geelong. It specialises in Mercedes Benz, Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles. The business is owned and operated by Ben Buckle, Adam Hunter, Mark Goodear and Adam Dres, who have combined over 100 years of experience working and training in the automotive service and repair industry. All their experience has been exclusively working on European vehicles both in Australia and abroad. German Automotive uses genuine and original equipment parts.

It seeks customer authorisation before proceeding with any major servicing or repairs. All work is guaranteed and maintains manufacturer's new car warranty. The business uses Castrol oils and quality fluids and lubricants. Its service area includes Geelong, Bellarine, Surf coast, Colac, Warrnambool, Hoppers Crossing and Werribee. German Automotive holds Vicroads Licensed Tester Number 11660LV and Australian Refrigeration Council Number AU24348. Main services include dealership standard service, tyres and repairs.

European vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs form the core of German Automotive's work, and the recurring theme across feedback is the depth of knowledge applied to Volkswagen, Porsche and other prestige marques. Quality of the finished result is repeatedly commended, with challenging jobs such as a second-hand turbo fitted to a diesel engine said to run better than new. Ben is named often, both for the transparency he brings to quotations and for sharing images that clarify what requires attention. Reliability and punctuality come up frequently, as owners note the workshop accommodates vehicles around its existing schedule and returns them without fuss.

Communication before and after the job is a consistent strength, with costs discussed in advance so that unexpected items do not become surprises. Staff friendliness, from the administrative side through to the technicians, is regularly acknowledged, and the care taken with each vehicle reflects genuine pride in the trade. Fair pricing also recurs, whether through a roadworthy charged at a lower rate than past experiences or a radio screen rectified at no cost. Technical diagnostic capability and meticulous attention to detail complete the picture, alongside servicing of Golf R models.
