I made sure to leave this review because my car was well looked after and he took the time to explain the service including a run down of mechanical technicalities which I didn’t understand. I’ll definitely become a regular!
Just did my car servicing here, very quick and efficient.
I had a very disappointing experience with Gold Coast Mechanical. I booked my Toyota Yaris in for a roadworthy inspection, and within about 30 minutes of dropping it off, I was told the car couldn’t be passed because the mechanic “couldn’t find the compliance plate.” I was still charged $100 for this. To double-check, I took the car to another mechanic straight after, and they located the compliance plate within seconds and passed the inspection without any issues. It’s hard to understand how a licensed mechanic could miss something so basic, yet still charge for the service. I also reached out via email to discuss a possible refund but never received any response. Overall, this felt unprofessional and not good value for money. I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

Great service replaced injectors in my old ranger. Went for 1000km drive that weekend. Didn't miss a beat. Great Power, good fuel economy Highly recommended
