Extremely knowledgeable and super accomodating. I had a check engine light come on and he got me in the same day and talked me through what was wrong with me car. Couldn’t have been a smoother experience. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a great, trustworthy and reliable mechanic, I can’t recommend Hansen Mechanic enough. He’s officially become the mechanic for my whole family. I’m a 26-year-old woman who knows next to nothing about cars so I’ve always been worried about being overcharged or sold repairs I don’t actually need. Hansen has never made me feel that way. He takes the time to explain everything, only recommends what’s genuinely necessary, and you can tell he actually cares about his customers - not just making money. Today I had my 2017 Mazda CX-5 serviced and mentioned that both of my rear seatbelts had stopped retracting. Instead of recommending me to go elsewhere, he called Mazda to find out the best solution as it is a safety defect. After being told by Mazda that they’d charge a $250 INSPECTION fee just to look at it, he did his own research, spoke through the options with me, and then fixed the problem himself (of course after I asked him to). It’s really refreshing to find a mechanic who’s not only skilled at what he does, but who is also honest, fairly priced and genuinely goes the extra mile. With the cost of living right now, finding someone you can trust is priceless. If you’re after a mechanic who puts people before profit, I genuinely couldn’t recommend Hansen Mechanic enough. Especially for anyone who does not want to be taken advantage of for their lack of knowledge for mechanics. 100/10 would recommend.

Have been using The Hansen Mechanic now for a couple of years. As well as his extremely affordably priced servicings, he has assisted with a couple of unforeseen problems with my wife and daughter's cars that have seen them quickly restored to a driveable and safe condition. He zeros in on the cause of the problems and doesn't add in unnecessary additional expensive 'repairs' that sometimes don't even fix the underlyong issue as has been our experience with larger repair shops. He has literally saved us thousands of dollars with his knowledgeable to the point diagnoses and recommendations. A capable and skilful mechanic that you can trust not to try and rip you off.

Best mechanic around - I cannot recommend Hansen Mechanics enough! I called yesterday needing advice and help with my car, Johann was incredibly helpful from the start and gave me exactly the advice I needed and genuinely took the time to help. Johann went out of his way to come and fix my car issues, which I was so grateful for. Overall Johann is honest, knowledgeable upfront, and very kind. He genuinely provided great service which is something that’s hard to find these days. I’ll definitely be returning to the workshop for future servicing. Also, Frank is a super cute helper 🐶😂

If you’re looking for an honest, genuine mechanic with a calm nature and fair pricing, that actually has time for people and their concerns, this is ya guy! Cherry ontop that I got to hang out with Johann’s adorable dog Frank 🐶☺️ while he did a pre inspection for me. Also one of the only mechanics in the area that had a large enough hoist to properly check a SLWB Toyota Commuter and wasn’t ageist about the car. I think the 5 stars speak for themselves. Unfortunately rare to find this workmanship these days 💎

It’s hard to find a good and honest mechanic on the gold coast but Johann is one of the best! He was able to fix my car quickly and on short notice! I always get my car serviced by him and you can tell he does a fantastic job at an affordable price, could not recommend more, he goes above and beyond!
