EXCELLENT SERVICE! For all things mechanical take your Car to Mechanical Care. Gordon & Cory have got you covered. From services,rebuilds,diagnostics & Advice. They are both knowledgable, Professional & Courteous with a genuine desire to fix your problem. After being abandoned by the dealership I bought the car from and had it serviced its whole life once Warranty had expired I was left with a car stuck in limp mode and a check engine light on. I was forced to search else where. A quick search on google for local mechanics lead me to Gordon's shop. Over 25 years local experience and once head technician at Mitsubishi. After a brief description He immediately said limp it up to the workshop and I can a least diagnose the problem. In a short space of time he had found the core of my problem. Although off the road a few more days while waited for parts and a few other issues that arose as knock on effect. My car was fixed in no time. I was also very lucky as he had a loan car while mine was in the workshop. For first class service,and genuine honest advice take your car to Mechanical Care in Belconnen. He even has some car projects out front if you were looking for a second hand car. The confidence he instilled in me that I was getting good service was second to none. Mechanical Care did brakes, re-packed wheel bearings (which were not shot as previous mechanic suggested) replaced tyres and aligned wheels. Brakes are better than they have ever been in 12 years of ownership and steering is lighter. These guys are great! At last, a mechanic I can trust! Thanks Gordon and John.
i’ve been taking my cars to mechanical care for many years and the guys have always been terrific. they always go the extra mile to get tricky issues sorted out or spare parts found for my ancient 100 series land cruiser. i can’t recommend them highly enough - the best mechanics in town 👍

Took both our cars to Gordon and the team at Mechanical Care for all services and repairs when we lived in Canberra for several years around 2012. Now living in Canberra again - this time permanently - and delighted that they are still in Belconnen. Have just had major repairs (new auto transmission) done to our SUV. As usual, they were trustworthy, informative, attentive, and helpful. They kept in touch, and provided a courtesy car for the week. They were pleasantly surprised when we returned it after cleaning and refueling! It’s the least we could do in return for their amazing service. Our SUV is running like a dream.
