Mobile Brake & Mechanical Repairs

Mobile Brake & Mechanical Repairs has been a specialist in mobile brake machining and repairs since 1988. The company provides mobile service, coming to customers' homes or workplaces. Its specialised brake machining service is used by many prominent Adelaide mechanical workshops, dealerships, and the RAA.

The company offers log book servicing, maintenance and repairs, and accessories fitting. It services passenger cars, 4WDs, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, tradesman vehicles, trailers, caravans, and classic cars. All staff are insurance compliant and carry a South Australian National Police Clearance. The company is located in the Adelaide CBD.

Adelaide motorists describe a mobile mechanical operation that earns confidence through openness and straight dealing. Something that features in review after review is the readiness of those on the tools to walk a customer through a repair piece by piece, with one account noting that a part was replaced only after a close inspection picked up a component another workshop had overlooked.

John and Zack feature by name, the first credited with diverting from his route to help a stranded driver on South Road and with attending to a failed caravan bearing, the second remembered for a brisk and good-humoured approach. Quick turnarounds recur in the feedback, among them same-day repairs to snapped wheel studs on a company vehicle and jobs wrapped up within a couple of hours, together with charges described as reasonable and lower than those of larger operators.

The finished result is another constant: bearings, tyres and general mechanical repairs are reported as carried out correctly and with care. Customers also appreciate the briefings provided before and after work, leaving them clear on the cause of a fault and how to prevent it recurring. Courtesy, professionalism and a readiness to assist at short notice complete the picture.
