This place let my daughter leave with an obvious car fault. Instead of fixing the real issue, they replaced a part that clearly wasn’t the main problem. As a result, she broke down on a public holiday and was left stranded. As a father and a mechanic myself, I find this unacceptable. When we called them afterwards, they were unhelpful and even tried to intimidate my daughter by claiming a phone recording proved she was at fault and the one asking to change this piece. This is not OK, and I’m very disappointed with their service.
Launceston motorworks went above and beyond to help me diagnose and fix my car. I have only positive things to say about my experience, everyone is knowledgeable and kind plus Pixie the dog is an added bonus in the reception area.
Massive appreciation to all the staff at Launceston Motorworks. They were able to assist me with getting my car roadworthy after being defected. A lot of work was needed and they were happy to assist with everything. Would highly recommend Launceston Motorworks! 😊
Excellent service from Justin and his wife. Friendly greeting upon arrival and they fitted me in for a last minute alternator installation that took exactly 1 hour. Fair price for labour. Will be back!

On arrival I was met with a wonderful smile from the whole team. I was offered a ride to my place of business because I would be without my car for a few hours. The team took great care of my vehicle and accomplished all the work they set out to do even went above and beyond by clearing annoying codes from the instrument cluster. Well done 👍 I highly recommended!!
