Great communication, and they helped to get me to understand why they added things to the service with proof. They went through things that may be an issue down the line and to watch for it. Upfront and honest. And the car felt great after the service.

Just a heads up to others thinking about using Lube Mobile in Newcastle NSW. I had initially had a quote over the phone for a alternator to be replaced. I was quoted $690 + a 1.1% surcharge of $7.59. When the mechanic arrived (Max) he wanted to diagnose the problem himself even though I had already had the problem diagnosed prior. What he didn't tell me was that he planned to sting me an extra $100 for doing so on top of my quote. Luckily I had a look at the amount on his eftpos machine before I tapped. Anyhow, I pulled him up on it and he removed the extra charge. I contacted Lube Mobile to complain and they said that the technicians do need to diagnose the issue themselves with the car prior to purchasing parts, however, they are not supposed to charge $100 for diagnosis and would investigate Max and get back to me. Well, it's been 3 weeks since they said they would get back to me. Crickets. Nothing. Be warned people. Lube Mobile the Dodgy Mechanics should be their slogan in my opinion. Update: It has now been 2 weeks since the response from Lube Mobile posted below. No one has contacted me. They are an absolute joke. Don't trust them. They don't keep to their word.

I had used lube mobile newcastle and had a water pump , sepentine belt an injector clean & upper radiator hose replacement & coolant flush. The job was completed on pretty short notice and had ethan do the job. I was very happy with the service and quality of the job and the care taken to undergo the tasks required. One of the parts , due to supply related issues was hard to locate locally however the said part needed to be ordered out of area. The part was found swiftly and quickly overall and installed within an extremely quick turnaround considering availability and other aftermarket brands. I asked for a genuine hyundai part for an older hyundai and thatas what i got which was amazing it turned out $14 cheaper than the aftermarket gates part. Overall Ethan was amazing thankyou for helping me out on very short notice. I booked late on a sunday ethan was here early monday. Total Job was completed on the wednesday while the hard to find part was being ordered & dispactched. the part was later installed mid afternoon wednesday. Communcation was great overall experience 10/10! In regards to how tough business can be and how busy mechanics can be also i appreciate the time ethan has given me to complete my repairs and balance other customers repairs where i can only imagine this could be a potentially stressful task and a bit of a balancing act with multiple jobs to be completed in the days schedule. Thanks again than much appreciated

Ethan was very proffessional and provided excellent customer service and had my car fixed and ready on time. I highly recommend him for future service.

Ethan was awesome. Super easy to deal with and fixed a few things. My car feels a lot safer and better to drive now.
