The team was incredibly friendly, honest, and professional throughout the entire process. They were very fast without cutting corners, and the level of communication was excellent—they kept me updated on everything being done. I also really appreciated how clean and organized their workshop space was. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and quality service in the area!"
We were quoted nearly $400 for a new tailgate light because apparently our 2009 Mazda 2 had led lights. We proceeded to change the $8 non-led bulb ourselves that apparently the technician couldn’t get to. We’ve been going here for a few years now but after this very basic error won’t be going back.
Website did not let me know that my car did not fall under the 199 dollar service even if it was know by the brand off my car it would not be possible and it ended up costing 388 dollars instead. "Only one type of oil could be used for a jeep" When in store you are not likly to go out and re do the rescurch and rebook to a new service provider. A disclaimer is not clear, and dose not justify 150 dollars for oil alone. Besides that to build in that pricing based on make and model would be easy as that is asked when doing the booking. Still feel ripped off.
My wife took her Subaru XV there for a service today Mon 02/11/25 We were given an exact quote along with a detailed list of repairs needed in order of priority along with our required service request. Madison was terrific and gave real time on the spot updates as my wife was sitting at the beach close by reading a book. Thank you for the awesome service, see you Friday for my new tyres . I found the experience of using Midas Maroochydore amazing from start to finish. The ladies on the front desk lovely to talk to and very knowledgeable and efficient. Mechanics who fixed my car, were also knowledgeable and VERY patient! They did not mind all my questions, from why my car was misfiring to pointing out the parts that needed replacing. 😊 My car now runs like a dream!! I will definitely be back! Thanks Guys!!
We would like to thank Jeremy at Midas Maroochydore for his excellent customer service he gave us. We had just had 4 new tyres fitted and an error message came up on our screen. We were very fortunate to be able to have his expertise in correcting this. Thank you Jeremy we would recommend Midas.
This review is very late but something recently reminded me of my terrible experience with these guys and I realised I never got around to sharing the story. I guess I never got over the grudge. So this was all back in 2023. Maybe they're better now, maybe not. Look at other reviews to find out. Basically I took my car in to get an oil leak identified and fixed. They told me they'd taken care of it, charged me for it, and I took it home. Still leaking. So I brought it back and they said 'oh this other part must be leaking too, you'll have to get that replaced too at full price'. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and pay for the second repair. Still leaking. So I took it back a third time for them to identify the source of the leak and while they didn't charge me to look at it try to find the leak a third time, they did then come back saying 'we found it, it's gonna be another 800 bucks or so. No you'll have to pay full price because trust us those other two leaks were legit too'. That time I wizened up and decided not to trust them a third time. I made the effort to take it back to my old mechanic who I trust and he fixed it in two hours for half of the cost of the first repair, let alone all three. No more leak after that. All in all I paid these guys close to $1000 to do what seems like it must've been guesswork at finding and fixing the leak. They say each fix was it's own leak, but I highly doubt that after the two failed attempts in which they handed me back a leaky car. I think it was just poor workmanship and a refusal to take accountability for it. The staff were pleasant to talk to at least. I should've made more of an effort to follow up on it back in the day but I was so over it by that point that I just never bothered. Anyway that's my story and I just felt like finally putting it to paper because apparently I never got over it. Hopefully they're better now.
