Avoid at all costs – Dodgy RWC and straight-up lies I bought a used car from the guy working at this shop. The car was sold with a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) and everything seemed fine at the time. The very next check I got done independently revealed multiple safety issues that should have failed the RWC: - Right indicator/headlight bulb not working - Passenger's seatbelt torn and damaged - No spare wheel When I contacted the shop to sort it out, they told me the mechanic who sold me the car “no longer works there.” I messaged the guy directly and he told me to come back to the shop — and he was clearly still working there. The business refused to take any responsibility or help fix the problems they sold me. Extremely disappointed and feel completely ripped off. Issuing dodgy RWCs and then lying to customers is not okay. If you’re fixing your car or doing anything here just go elsewhere.
I’ve been using Valiance for over three years now, and I’ve always had a great experience. Patrick, Sean, and the whole team are consistently friendly and professional. Patrick, in particular, is very thorough with his assessments and takes the time to explain everything clearly, giving you the option to decide before any parts are ordered, which I really appreciate. Most of the time, he’s spot on with his recommendations. Repairs can sometimes be a bit costly depending on what needs fixing, but I genuinely feel like I’m getting good value for what I pay. Overall, I highly recommend their service!

Very disappointing experience. Our car had a few problems with its sensors, which I explained over the phone to Valiance, and so I booked it in for two weeks hence. On the day I dropped off the car at Valiance at about 8:30am, and repeated the issues to be fixed. I had heard nothing back by 3:45pm, so I rang for an update. I was told I'd be called back in 5 minutes. No call received by 4:25pm, so I called back. This time I was told that the guy who was supposed to fix my car was not at work, so could I book it in for another time? I said no. So, my wife and I were without our car for a day for no result. I would have understood if Valiance had called me once they realised they were without the person who was going to fix the car's sensors, but that didn't happen. Non-existent communication and a half-hearted apology. Not recommended. Would give zero stars if possible.
Do NOT go to this auto shop! Their quotes are extremely overpriced, and if you decide not to get your car repaired with them, they will maliciously damage your vehicle. This place has absolutely no professional ethics. They cannot be trusted under any circumstances. Stay far away！Read all the bad reviews before make your decision!
Don't do your RWC here! Because of Sean we wasted so much money and time. Patrick told us all the stuff we need to do. So when we where finished and came for the RWC Sean just told us to do more stuff... They tell you ridiculous things like there are some drops of water in your lamp or you need to clean that. Sean is just super disrespectful and refused to show me things on the car. We are backpackers and because of these guys we have nearly no money left before leaving Australia. DON'T GO THERE!!!
