A&D Automotive Technicians

A&D Automotive Technicians has operated as a mechanic in Mackay and surrounding areas since 1995. The business serves Mackay, Rural View, Sarina, and Pioneer Valley. It works on petrol, diesel, and LPG vehicles. Services include roadworthy certificates, 4x4 repairs covering suspension, drivetrain, and engine work, LPG repairs and inspections, pre-purchase inspections, and safety inspections. The business is always recruiting skilled mechanics and professionals.

Vehicle repair and maintenance work, including brake servicing, battery replacement, vehicle inspections and LPG conversion, forms the core of what this Mackay workshop delivers, and the accounts left by customers centre on honesty and professionalism. Several describe receiving personal and professional attention without an unexpectedly large bill at the end, and an aspect raised across a number of reviews is the trustworthiness shown in situations where another workshop might have acted differently.

Reviewers repeatedly name Daniel, who is called knowledgeable and easy to deal with, alongside the wider staff described as friendly and helpful. Clear advice features strongly, whether on general servicing or on sourcing upgraded parts for an older LPG system, which one account notes was supplied at a very reasonable price with plenty of guidance. The quality of the finished job, fair pricing and reliability are all highlighted, and the team's dealings with customers are described as genuine across all aspects of the work.

Long-standing patrons note that their vehicles have been looked after for years at a competitive rate, while newer customers remark on the down-to-earth approach and the satisfaction that comes with the results. The recurring picture is of a workshop that pairs technical expertise with genuine care for the people it serves, right through to the advice given on LPG mixers and the final handover.
