Cam Duffy Autos

Cam Duffy Autos is a car repair and servicing business that has been operating for over 30 years. It is an RACQ-approved repairer and has over 100 years of combined industry expertise. The business is based in Atherton and services Atherton, Mareeba, Tolga, the Tablelands, Ravenshoe, Malanda, Chillagoe, and Kuranda. It offers mechanical repairs, batteries, windscreen repairs, and towing services. It handles logbook servicing, mechanical repairs, auto glass, and radiator restoration. It also offers servicing for electric vehicles.

A broken-down vehicle far from home is a stressful test for any workshop, and accounts of Cam Duffy Autos suggest the team is repeatedly measured well against it. One caravan with sheared wheel studs was back on the road inside a couple of hours, while another car was retrieved from a range road after an out-of-hours call. Utes, 4x4s and caravans appear throughout the feedback, with long-standing owners entrusting their vehicles to the business over many years. A point made in several accounts is the phone call before work begins, where faults are explained and repair options and costs set out clearly, which customers say reduces the worry of an unexpected breakdown.

Cam is named for his knowledge and for passing on practical tips, while Michael and Jan are credited with sourcing parts during a long tow and completing repairs without fuss. Friendliness from booking to collection is a consistent theme, as is the readiness to help interstate visitors. Several customers describe honest appraisals and professional conduct, with Tableland locals referring to a family business they have depended on across decades. Servicing, towing, mechanical repair and parts sourcing recur as the work most often mentioned.
