Grease and Oil Automotive

Grease and Oil Automotive is a mechanics business in Wollongong with over 25 years in the automotive industry. It specialises in European vehicle diagnosis and repairs and is an authorised inspection station in Wollongong 2500. The business provides warranty-safe servicing that follows manufacturer specifications using approved parts, procedures, and fluids.

It offers a full range of mechanical services including new car warranty servicing, logbook servicing, vehicle diagnostics, registration/eSafety checks, 3D wheel alignments, tyre fitting, brake repairs, and steering & suspension repairs.

Wollongong drivers regularly put their European vehicles in the hands of Grease and Oil Automotive, and the feedback centres on the calm, capable way the workshop handles everything from routine servicing to sudden breakdowns. Several buyers describe Dominic, the mechanic most often named, as quick to diagnose faults and generous with his time, whether that means tracing a drive train warning to chewed wiring in a BMW or talking through a problem without a booking. One thing mentioned again and again is the clear explanation of what was done and what it cost, with reviewers noting they were kept informed from drop-off to collection and found the pricing reasonable for the work involved.

The team is repeatedly called reliable, prompt and approachable, with jobs such as a RAM DPF fault turned around quickly and a breakdown repair completed within two days. Beyond the mechanical fixes, people appreciate the advice given to head off future problems, and the general sense is of a workshop that treats a VW or BMW service with the same care as an unplanned tyre change. The recurring theme is expertise delivered without fuss, and Dominic’s name anchors many of those accounts.
