Technically capable, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I dropped my car off to investigate a suspected ground fault or trailer-light ECU issue. When I began explaining the problem, the staff member at the counter interrupted me and said, "I'll be honest, I stopped listening. Leave the key and I'll check it out soon." After performing a basic light-box test, I received a call advising there was no fault with the vehicle and that I could collect it. When I arrived, I tried to provide additional context, including the fact that I had already tested two different trailers and only one exhibited the fault. Unfortunately, my concerns were largely dismissed. During the conversation, Gordon walked away to take a phone call, then returned, issued an invoice for $47, and provided very little explanation regarding the vehicle's trailer ECU setup or what further diagnostic steps would be required. I was simply advised to bring the car and trailer back next week and that load resistors "might" resolve the issue. I have no issue paying for professional advice or diagnostic work, but I do expect basic courtesy, communication, and a genuine attempt to understand the problem being presented. If customer service and clear communication are important to you, this may not be the right workshop.

The ABS unit in my 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara decided it needed to be replaced a couple of days before my rego expired. Gordon searched all over Australia and even in the States to track down the right unit. Not only did he keep me informed every step of the way, but went above and beyond to ensure things were done in a timely manner and the unit was replaced, in spite of the fact that they're as rare as hen's teeth. I wouldn't take my car to anyone else for autoelectrical work and can't recommend them highly enough. The price was great, too.

I took my wife’s car to someone else to get the air conditioning fixed with disappointing results. I should have taken it to Lonsdale auto electrics in the first place. The guys at Lonsdale not only found the problems with the air conditioning but they also found another problem I was not aware of, which I was very grateful for. These guys are very thorough and capable people, very easy to get along with and the bill was very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone who wants the job done right the first time. Absolutely appalling the response of them when I just called to enquire about a connection of my rear view camera with a new head unit installed in my car. The blunt response was: “we are not interested, try someone else”. This is definitely not the way to handle enquiries and treat customers. They really need to understand what customer service is about.

Went out of their way to help me, assisted interstate via phone on auto issue, corresponded with multiple businesses linked to my cars requirements. Excellent customer service. Highly professional. Friendly team. Gordon goes the extra mile and you know from the start that the workshop is trustworthy and supportive.

The air-conditioner in my son’s car was repaired here and the service was excellent. Londale Auto Electrical was very fast, the price was good, and we are all very satisfied with the result. Highly recommended!
