I can't recommend Brendan highly enough! He went absolutely above and beyond to help me with my car - not only did he take the time to explain the issues clearly and fix them properly, but when it came time for me to buy a new vehicle, he also helped me through the process of purchasing one. His honesty, expertise, and genuine care made the whole experience stress free. If you're looking for someone who really knows their stuff and actually cares I cannot recommend this business enough!

Left an oil soaked rag in the engine bay after work on my turbo. Delayed my pick up time till the next day, because they left it till closing time to let me know it was ready. I lived an hour away.

A wealth of knowledge, friendly service and no gimmicks. Brendan is a great mechanic who takes time to explain any issues or concerns up front. He speaks plainly and understands that not everyone knows their timing belt from a CV joint (which is good because I don’t even know if those things are car parts or not). No hidden fees or unnecessary work. We have recommended The Car Doctor to many of our friends and family and always have great feedback on their experiences. 10/10.

Brendan & the team at The Car Doctor are seriously the best mechanics in Tassie. We went there on the recommendation of a friend, who owns an older model Renault, after some disastrous car mechanic experiences elsewhere and could not be happier.

I'm currently living in my van and it broke down on me. When I called around Hobart every mechanic said they may be able to look at it in a week. The first thing I was told when I called the car doctor is they'll have a look at it today and try their best to get it back to me as soon as possible. That's exactly what they did. I can't thank the guys enough for their help and support. Ill be recommending everyone to them. Cheers guys

Great honest service. Came out to check a broken down car within an hour of me calling and gave me a comprehensive, fair summary of the situation. This ultimately meant choosing to scrap the car rather than spend over 10k on a potential fix. Really appreciate the honesty. Highly recommended.
