Super dodgy. Take my car in for a routine service and pink slip, leave the car for a bit and then I get a call that they've done the service but can't do a pink slip because my ABS light is on and they can't clear it, somehow or another they messed up the ABS sensors and pretended ignorance - "It was on before" yeah right, note that I didn't get a call prior to them servicing, it'd be a bloody obvious call to make if they saw the ABS light before the service. So then I'm forced to take the car to the dealership and pay additional costs out of pocket. Careful with these guys, they will wreck your car and then lie about it.

I recently took my car in for an oil change and mentioned there was a small coolant leak. I asked the mechanic if he could fix it if it was something simple (like a hose), or let me know if it was more serious. Later in the afternoon—right before closing—I got a call saying the leak was from the radiator, and it would cost $1200 to replace and require three days. I needed the car to get home and wasn’t prepared to pay that much, so I planned to handle it myself. On the phone, he claimed he had already removed the radiator, so I supposedly couldn’t drive the car. Unsure what to do, I went straight to the shop to see for myself—turns out the radiator was still in place. He was just trying to pressure me into going ahead with the repair. When I asked him to take the car off the hoist, he insisted I couldn’t drive it because it was “losing too much fluid” and would “blow up the engine.” I'd been driving the car like that for weeks, not really an issue with such a small leak. He didn’t even do the oil service, which completely wasted my time. From what I saw, this is not a trustworthy place. I can only imagine what else they might pull on other customers. If you need car repairs, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Went to Dons just before Christmas for a pink slip. After inspecting my car for less than 5 minutes (without driving or doing a brake test) I was quoted $500-$600 to replace the front brake discs. I decided to get a second opinion at a different mechanic and was advised there are no issues. Very dodgey vibes, would not recommend!!
