Newcastle Car Services

I had a very disappointing experience with this business. I called regarding a company vehicle that had broken down just around the corner and was hoping to enquire about assistance. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude, abrupt, and came across as though my call was an inconvenience. When you're dealing with a vehicle breakdown, it's already a stressful situation, so a little professionalism and empathy goes a long way. Instead, I was met with an unfriendly attitude that made the experience even more frustrating. Customer service is just as important as the mechanical service you provide. Based on this interaction alone, I would be hesitant to contact this business again or recommend it to others.

Great price, great attention to detail and he took time to explain to me everything i needed to know. very pleased with their service and I will continue to come back.

If you are from out of town, are a traveller, don't know much about cars, etc. etc. THIS is the mechanic for you. Richard takes his time to explain what's going on. Gives sound advice even if that means he makes less money off of you. Truly genuine person that is also the cheapest you will find in Newcastle/Sydney/the surronding area. I feel secure going on my roadtrip, and after dealing with many mechanics, I can't rave enough about this one. The only one I've found that takes the time, isn't trying to scam you, and cares about your goals. RICHARD is the best. Go here. I never write reviews, but this one is warranted.

I highly recommend Newcastle Car Services. I have been here a few times now and Richard and Greg go above and beyond with their work. They’re honest, reliable, and genuinely care about their customers. The service is always friendly, professional, and done to a high standard. It’s hard to find people you can truly trust, but these two make the whole experience easy and stress-free. Thanks again for the good Work Guys!

Richard and Greg are absolutely great, they’ve become my trusty reliable mechanics and always look after me. Richard is very experienced, always takes his time to explain everything to me so I understand my car issues and how to look after it. This is not an experience I’m used to with previous mechanics so it’s very appreciated. They are very reasonably priced and genuinely care about your car and wellbeing as a person. Highly recommend and will be visiting these guys for as long as they’re open! Don’t waste your time with mechanics that will take you for a ride and over charge, Newcastle Car Services will absolutely look after you and treat you fairly.

I had a great experience getting my Blue Slip inspection done here of hyundai imax Richard was very professional, honest, and easy to deal with. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The inspection was thorough and completed on time. Highly recommend this shop if you need a Blue Slip inspection. Thanks again Richard

I honestly can’t recommend Richard highly enough. He is such a kind, genuine person and really takes care of everyone who walks through the door. From the start, I felt looked after and never rushed, and everything was explained clearly and honestly. He goes above and beyond to help, treats people with real respect, and you can tell he truly cares about doing the right thing. It is such a relief to find a mechanic you can genuinely trust. An absolute gem and easily the best mechanic I have ever dealt with.
