Ultra Tune Cairns

Ultra Tune Cairns is part of the Ultra Tune franchise network, which was established in 1979 with its first centre in Box Hill, Victoria. The network has been operating for over 40 years, is 100% Australian-owned, and comprises more than 260 franchise centres nationally. Sean Buckley is the Chief Executive.

Ultra Tune Cairns employs qualified mechanics and ensures they have proper qualifications and certifications. The centre holds ARC AU23671 accreditation and uses modern tools and equipment. It serves Cairns, Cairns City, Cairns North, and the Manunda area. Ultra Tune offers a nationwide warranty. The network provides corporate and government fleet servicing and maintenance services.

Cairns motorists describe Ultra Tune Cairns as a workshop that takes on a wide spread of mechanical work, from routine servicing and roadworthy inspections to brake repairs, tyres, batteries and auto electrical jobs, with air conditioning and radiator work also covered. Several customers note that Ant, a frequently named member of the front-of-house team, explains faults clearly and offers advice without pressure, a point that comes up often in accounts of repairs to older cars and vans. Reviewers repeatedly mention that jobs are finished sooner than expected and that the eventual charge comes in under the initial estimate, with parts tracked down when they proved difficult to source.

A fleet operator with years of regular servicing notes that the work is efficient, professional and more economical than a dealership, while other customers describe the booking process as effortless and the staff as friendly and trustworthy. Roadworthy paperwork and scheduled maintenance are handled promptly, and long-standing clients say their vehicles run better after each visit. The recurring theme is straightforward communication paired with repairs completed quickly and at a fair price.
